For more than 30 years, Steven W. Allen has been helping people plan how to best transfer their hard-earned assets to their family. And how to accomplish their estate planning goals with the least possible confusion, cost or dispute.
Steve is a pioneer in the use of plain English instead of legal jargon. His clear explanations of legal concepts helps his clients quickly understand even complex legal procedures and planning ideas. Steve advocated and championed the use of revocable living trusts to avoid costly and time consuming probate, well before the trust became so widely accepted. His vast experience in these matters helps his clients in ways they never would have expected.
Steve is considered by many to be a preeminent expert in matters of estate planning and asset protection. Steve has helped clients in more than 26 states avoid problems with such matters. He has spoken to more than 1200 groups about planning techniques.
Steve is currently writing a book titled: “If You Can’t Take It With You. . .How Are You Going to Leave It Behind?” which takes the myths and the mystique out of estate planning. Watch for it at http://www.stevenallen.com and at http://www.legalawareness.com.
Steve’s hobby of studying about the creation of The United States of America led him to write the popular book “Founding Fathers Uncommon Heroes.” In his book, Steve gloriously brings to life the heroes of the American Revolution. Senator Orrin G. Hatch was so fascinated by Steve’s description of the lives of these Founding Fathers that he happily agreed to write a foreword to Steve’s book. Visit http://www.uncommonheroes.us for more information about the book.
Steve received his Juris Doctor degree from Arizona State University college of law. He is a member of the State Bar of Arizona, the National Lawyers Association, the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys, and the National Speakers Association.
